All fiberglass parts require installation fit before priming and painting. Such professional prep work is required for all fiberglass parts. All hoods require professional installation. Adjustment of the latches, hooks, brackets are sometimes necessary. These are normal body work and installation steps for all products sold. These are NOT considered to be defective.
